Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent hands-on experience.

• Work in a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Night shifts consisting of four 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30)
• Patient population includes Med/Surg and telemetry cases
• Electronic documentation using Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at affiliated locations may not exceed 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before any new assignment at those locations
• Holiday work coverage is required as assigned

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must successfully complete both ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
