Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted
• No open background check cases accepted
• No hits on professional license accepted

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with up to 2 attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
