American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, four 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Background check and license history will be reviewed; open cases or license hits are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
