The Automotive Sales Assistant will work with our top producers in a support role by taking care of the tasks associated with selling vehicles thus affording our top producers more time in front of new or returning customers.
As an Automotive Sales Assistant you will be fielding calls and emails from automotive shoppers and customers, gathering the necessary documentation from customers during vehicle delivery, following up on outstanding details regarding a vehicle purchase, organizing and prioritizing daily tasks, assisting in the preparation for upcoming appointments with our very top performers. You will be gathering the knowledge and skills required to be a top industry producer while maximizing our top performers’ efficiency.
The position requires a familiarity with the basic features of Microsoft Office, fluency with clear and friendly written and spoken communication, and basic computer skills including online search agility.
- Take incoming phone calls and discern the customer’s automotive needs and taking action to assure their complete satisfaction.
- Act as a surrogate in calling customer for post sale follow up or appointment related concerns.
- Fully utilize customer relation and other related software to maintain close customer relations via phone, email, and any other means necessary to assure customer satisfaction.
- Make sure vehicles are ready to be shown for appointments or properly prepared for delivery.
- Review vehicle features with customers when necessary.
- Assist in gathering paperwork necessary for vehicle sale and delivery.
- Prospect for additional business opportunities.
- Satisfactorily complete all training programs and assist top producers in maintaining the required customer satisfaction indexes.
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends
