Overview

Job Description - Associate, Food Services-Part time-Days-(Position located in Warrenton, VA) )

The Food Services Associate performs functions related to food production, food dissemination, and safety and sanitation of food handling operations. These functions include, but are not limited to, portion control, delivery and pick up of trays, equipment operation, washing and sanitizing dishware, and maintain department to food code.

Required: Demonstrates a high level of personal accountability. Demonstrated ability to use computers (email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.). Excellent verbal, written, and intrapersonal communication skills. Customer services skills. Ability to organize work quickly and efficiently and be comfortable working against deadlines. Willingness to work flexible hours. Ability to relate to patient/resident/customer and their families in a positive and supportive manner. Demonstrated ability to utilize computers for work related functions such as ability to log-in and access: e-mail (generate send email) software for evaluations and job descriptions, time and attendance and human resource functions.

Preferred: High School Diploma. 1 year experience in food service industry or healthcare setting.
