Overview
The Surgical Services Technician assists with the total care given by the interdisciplinary team members to the surgical patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Patient care is provided in preoperative preparation, intra- and post-operative assessments, and the planning and delivery of care.

Patient care is provided in preoperative preparation, intra- and post- operative assessments, and the planning and delivery of care.
- Current BLS. Completed a formal Surgical Technician program with certification or equivalent training.
Everyone who is offered a position with Fauquier Health is screened for tobacco use as part of the post-offer health assessment and screening. A screening result that is verified positive for tobacco use will result in the job offer being withdrawn.
