Job Summary

The Villa at Poplar Hill, a leading provider of senior living services in Warrenton, VA, is seeking a compassionate and organized Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support. Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and beverages to residents in our skilled nursing facility

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the dietary department, adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines

  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and plating, as needed

  • Deliver meals to residents in their rooms or other designated areas, ensuring excellent customer service and attention to resident needs

  • Participate in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient food storage and rotation

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless food service operations

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts or related experience preferred

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
