Staff RN/Case Manager-Wound Healing Center-Full Time-Days-Mon-Fri -

The RN Case Manager performs the primary function of a RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Wound Healing Center. The position is responsible for meeting the established WHC Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of all assigned patients. This position assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities.

The RN Case Manager acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission Standards and professional and ethical practice.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Current BLS. Current Virginia State RN License. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Bachelor’s degree. Wound care experience.
