Spring Oak Senior Living at Warrenton is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dining team. Our community serves up to 41 residents
, providing an opportunity to work in a smaller kitchen environment with consistent hours and a supportive team.
Full-time, 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. Includes one weekend day each week, alternating Saturdays and Sundays, with a weekday off.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve dinner, desserts, and snacks according to established menus and recipes.
- Complete lunch service using food prepared by the morning shift.
- Prepare food and ingredients for the following day.
- Ensure meals are prepared on time, properly portioned, and well presented.
- Assist with meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup.
- Follow resident dietary requirements and food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Previous cooking experience required.
- Experience in a restaurant, senior living, healthcare, school, or similar food service setting preferred.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in quantity.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and kitchen sanitation.
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
$16 - $18 an hour
