Part Time Produce Clerk

Base pay range

$13.85/hr - $13.85/hr

• Process, package, and stock produce according to Produce Standards.
• Clean work areas and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Unload stock and reload salvage, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform floral clerk duties when assigned.
• Assist team members to create an incredible place to work and shop.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete training.
• Basic mathematical skills; ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers using U.S. money and weight measurements.
• English language skills: read, comprehend, write simple correspondence, and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.

• Associates must be at least 16 years of age.

The associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The associate is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6‑72 inches. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color, and depth perception.

The work environment is cool with an average temperature range of 55‑60°F and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and cold. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
