Security Management Resources® has partnered with a leading technology company to recruit a Vice President of Global Security. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior security executive ready to shape the future of security management in a high-impact environment. As the most senior security leader in the organization, you will drive strategy and oversee world-class programs spanning extensive industrial security functions in addition to the corporate physical security programs.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in building and running industrial security programs, along with a strong record of security leadership in the private sector. This position is based in the US Mid-Atlantic region and involves regular travel to domestic and international offices. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a market-leading compensation package reflective of this new and highly visible leadership position.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive corporate and client security policies and programs that safeguard personnel, property, and information in compliance with corporate and U.S. Government regulations.
- Oversee global security staffing, including hiring, training, and mentoring of security personnel across the enterprise.
- Manage an international team responsible for personnel security clearances, visit authorization requests, JPAS administration, badging, security briefings, and document control for all classified materials.
- Assess and enhance physical security programs and technologies across all locations to ensure compliance with corporate and US Government standards.
- Build and sustain partnerships with government agencies, law enforcement, and private-sector counterparts, serving as the organization’s primary security liaison.
- Review public- and private- sector proposals, recommending appropriate security measures.
- Support crisis response and emergency management planning and develop insider threat initiatives.
- Provide oversight of executive protection and event security programs.
- Design and deliver security training to promote a culture of proactive awareness throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with senior executives, key stakeholders, and internal teams to standardize security processes and integrate best practices globally.
- Advanced academic credentials in a relevant discipline, complemented by a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
- Extensive leadership experience overseeing both industrial and corporate security functions.
- Experience in a complex corporate environment, with deep knowledge of DoD Collateral, DoD Special Access Program (SAP), and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements.
- Broad working knowledge of additional industrial security programs.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and collaborate across diverse functions and regions.
- Uncompromising ethics and integrity, consistently fostering trust, respect, and dependability across the organization.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally, including on short notice.
- Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
