This position is eligible for a $1500 sign‑on bonus payable after 90 days.

65,+ per year, depending on skill and experience.

• Experience with aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes, construction, mining, farm equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, tractors, military heavy equipment such as MRAP, HMEE, tanks, aircraft, aerospace, or ground support equipment (AGE/GSE), or similar.
• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician focused on heavy equipment.
• Education in mechanics, electrical and/or hydraulic systems.

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Use technical resources (operator, parts, maintenance manuals, How Factory, etc.) for troubleshooting, determining procedures, and identifying required parts.
• Conduct unit condition inspections and produce reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Execute all tasks in accordance with Altec safety practices and procedures.
• Report situations that may impact customer relationships to supervisors.
• Provide accurate documentation and information as required.
• Demonstrate Altec company values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to move objects and tools up to 75 lbs; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
• High dexterity.
• Drive a motor vehicle.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Advocate for safety in all activities.
