Expected Salary Range- Entry‑Level: $85,000
- Mid‑Level: $90,000 – $111,000
- Senior Level: $118,000 – $150,000
Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations while acting as a resource and technical expert to engineers. Responsibilities include making technical decisions and applying industry codes and regulations.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities- Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation as a subject matter expert when resolved equipment and system problems.
- Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership regarding short‑term and long‑term programs that impact site operations.
- Perform engineering tasks assigned by supervision, applying engineering principles.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and standard design criteria.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Perform other job assignments, including emergency response, departmental coverage and support of outage activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear).
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience.
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Prior Nuclear Licensing/Regulatory Experience – Highly Preferred.
