DescriptionAccountant reflecting NM’s mission, vision, and values, adhering to the Code of Ethics and Compliance Programme, and complying with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Accurately adjust account balances and prepare journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, schedules, and commentaries for management.
- Compile and analyze account information to produce reconciling statements.
- Support audits and reviews by preparing financial reports and work papers.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies through detailed analysis.
- Report to the department manager and support finance operations through special projects.
- Provide analysis related to operational budget and long‑term financial projections.
- Answer managerial inquiries about account information.
- Support month‑end close activities.
Required
- Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Understanding of advanced accounting concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred
- CPA or CHFP certification.
- Experience in healthcare or related setting.
- Experience in accounting/finance.
- Experience with People Soft General Ledger.
