Patient Service Representative - Neurology

Employment Type: Part Time (16 hrs/week)
Schedule: Two days per week, and one Wednesday per month in Yorkville. Varying hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Pay: $18.38–$26.65 per hour (based on experience).
Travel: Yorkville office 1×/month and possibly Naperville.
Responsibilities- Provide front‑desk coverage under general supervision.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and greet patients.
- Register new patients in EPIC; schedule laboratory and off‑site diagnostic tests as requested by physicians.
- Verify insurance eligibility and interpret covered benefits.
- Process patient charges, apply insurance coverage, calculate adjustments, and record payments.
- Support clinic set‑up and other office tasks.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Keyboard and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license if duties require traveling to the off‑site location (must maintain automobile liability coverage).
- Minimum 3 months of business office or healthcare‑based experience.
- Preferred: experience with insurance, managed care, integrative medicine, or medical terminology/coding.
