The Policy Program Manager plays a vital role in advancing safe, standardized, and compliant care across Endeavor Health. This position leads the consolidation and alignment of policies systemwide and leverages Endeavor Health's integrated patient safety platform to drive analysis of safety trends and opportunities, ensure audit readiness, and support continuous quality improvement. By connecting policy management with safety data and regulatory requirements, this role helps build a foundation for high-reliability care and operational excellence.
As the Policy Manager, within Endeavor Health, you will be responsible to lead the coordination of all steps of policy alignment, and subsequent maintenance of clinical policies across a multi-hospital system. This role will work with key operational and clinical leaders across Endeavor Health and will support the Endeavor Clinical Oversight Council where system clinical policies and protocols are approved.
. This role will also serve as the administrator of the integrated Policy Stat platform. A key responsibility is to support and coordinate the work efforts needed to implement standardization and consolidation of legacy policies from multiple hospitals into unified, evidence-based, system-wide policies that are aligned with regulatory bodies and compliance requirements. This position will also be responsible for support and coordination of non-system policies as needed.
To be successful in this role, change management, a high degree of collaborative skills, clinical acumen and project management skills is expected. This role will report to leadership within the Chief Clinical Officer team.
What you will do:
- 1. Lead the development, consolidation, and standardization of clinical policies across the health system to ensure they are current, evidence-based, and aligned with regulatory standards.
- 2. Serve as the system lead for policy alignment, collaborating with clinical, legal, regulatory, and operational leaders to promote clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- 3. Leverage Endeavor Health's integrated patient safety platform to analyze safety trends, identify opportunities, and support continuous quality improvement.
- 4. Oversee policy version control, audit readiness, and training support to drive clinical policy excellence.
- 5. Provide administrative leadership and support to the Endeavor Health Clinical Oversight Council, co-chaired by the Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Physician Executive.
- 6. Partner with policy domain leads, policy owners, and subject matter experts to develop and manage processes for creation, classification, periodic review, and approval of policies.
- 7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and compliance across the system.
- 8. Facilitate collaboration among operational leaders, clinical experts, and compliance staff to achieve system-wide alignment.
- 9. Direct system-wide policy consolidation by coordinating alignment committees, engaging stakeholders, tracking feedback, and preparing policies for governance approval.
- 10. Ensure approved policies are integrated into central tracking systems, communicated across clinical, operational, IT, and other areas, and supported with appropriate change management strategies.
- 11. Monitor timelines for policy review and re-approval, coordinating resubmissions through governance structures as required.
- 12. Serve as Site Administrator for the system's document management platform, maintaining required records, archives, and compliance documentation.
- 13. Provide administrative coordination for policy governance processes, including scheduling, documentation, assigning follow-up actions, and tracking completion.
- Bachelors Degree Nursing Required Or
- Bachelors Degree Healthcare Administration Required Or
- Bachelors Degree Public Health Required
- Masters Degree Healthcare Administration Preferred Or
- Masters Degree Public Health Preferred Or
- Masters Degree Nursing Preferred Or
- Masters Degree Health Information Management Preferred Or
- Masters Degree Business Administration/Management Preferred
- 4 Years 4-7 years total experience in the healthcare field
- 2 Years 2-4 years in clinical policy development, regulatory compliance, or accreditation readiness (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS)
- Experience in a large hospital or health system, ideally with multi-site integration or policy standardization
- Project management experience, preferably leading cross-functional initiatives or change management
- Experience working directly with clinical and executive leadership
