Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across our enterprise environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration, and customization, as well as strong leadership capabilities to guide members of the Salesforce team and cross‑functional team members. The ideal candidate will ensure our Salesforce platform aligns with business objectives, scales effectively, and adheres to best practices.
As a technical lead, you will also fill the Release Manager role on projects. The Release Manager is responsible for the deployment and release management strategy and its execution on projects. The Release Manager is responsible for ensuring all deployment and release management deliverables are completed on a project. You will work closely with the project team to make sure all work is being tracked and documented for deployment executions and will work with them to resolve any errors during deployments.
- Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementation
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Responsible for designing and implementing solutions that support business requirements and drive key decisions that improve processes and productivity
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and governance for Salesforce development
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce‑related initiatives
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and system architecture
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and QA
- Act as project SME for all things deployment and release management (tools, best practices, maintaining source control, etc.)
- Define, manage, and execute environment and deployment strategy
- Run data deployments (sandbox seeding) to test features
- Run final releases to production and be able to roll back or restore if needed
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system performance and user experience
- Drive automation and efficiency through advanced Salesforce capabilities
Pay range for this position is $125,000–$140,000 annual salary.
Education- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or architect role within an enterprise environment
Prior experience with multiple Salesforce clouds – Sales/Service Cloud required; experience with Marketing Cloud and Congo CPQ/Billing preferred.
Technical Skills- Deep expertise in Flow Builder and declarative development tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model and data architecture
- Experience building technical artifacts including Salesforce configuration design documents and technical design documents
- Experience executing deployments and use of Dev Ops tools
Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) experience or certifications preferred.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with integration tools.
