Description

As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for completing all interior and exterior maintenance as scheduled and assigned by your supervisor in both our facility offices and residential properties.

Duties

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be involved in daily maintenance of multiple scattered site buildings and residences. Experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repairs. Mechanical abilities preferred and ability to work independently. Occasional weekends and/or evenings may be required due to emergencies.

Requirements

Must be fluent in verbal and written English to convey information in an organized and clear manner so that staff, supervisor and those dealt with in the general public can understand. Written material must be submitted in a legible manner consistent with Agency guidelines. Documents must be submitted in a timely, thorough, clear, concise way which will convey pertinent information to the appropriate person(s)

Is aware of and abides by the Policies and Procedures set forth by Little Friends, Inc

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly throughout your workday

Must have reliable transportation

Must posses a valid IL drivers license with fewer than 2 moving violations/accidents in the last 5 years
