Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant / Warrington (Flexible hybrid working) / £50,000 - £55,000 Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Financial Accountant for their UK finance team based in Warrington. This position is ideally suited to a qualified ACA or ACCA professional from a Top 10 accountancy firm who is keen to gain broad exposure within a large corporate environment. Working as part of an established financial reporting team, you'll play a key role in statutory reporting, audit coordination, compliance activities and wider finance projects, while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the UK business.

Key responsibilities will include:
Producing and reviewing monthly financial reporting information Supporting the delivery of group and statutory audits across multiple entities Preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor requests Assisting with external reporting requirements and financial compliance processes Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns Providing assistance on technical accounting matters where required Contributing to wider finance initiatives, business projects and tender support activities Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are met To be considered, you'll ideally have: ACA or ACCA qualification gained within a Top 10 UK accountancy practice Exposure to external audit engagements Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Advanced Excel capability and strong general systems knowledge The ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded employer that genuinely promotes flexibility, employee wellbeing and long-term career development.
