NHS Warrington Talking Therapies is part of the charity Mental Health Matters and has been delivering psychological interventions to the Warrington community since 2011. The service provides support for anyone registered with a Warrington GP who are dealing with common mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD or PTSD.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide an efficient and professional reception service, ensuring all visitors are treated with respect and enquiries are managed effectively.
  • Greet all visitors, monitor the flow of people to and from consulting rooms and ensure the electronic appointment system operates safely and effectively.
  • Use interpersonal skills to assist with and manage difficult conversations, helping to create a positive experience for those accessing the service.
  • Maintain excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, prioritising multiple tasks and adapting as required.
  • Keep accurate records in compliance with Data Protection and Confidentiality requirements.
  • Carry out general administration duties, including verbal and written contact with service users, team members, external professionals and general enquiries.
  • Book assessment and treatment appointments using the electronic booking system.
  • Input and update electronic records, process and distribute mail, and maintain filing and archive systems.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Person specification Qualifications
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language at Grade 4 or above and NVQ Level 2 or above.
Experience
  • At least one year of recent experience in an administration role.
  • Experience with electronic applications and database systems is helpful but not essential.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 (Exceptions Order).
