Our client, a reputable regional North West main contractor, are looking for an experienced construction Document Controller supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects by managing project documentation throughout the full construction lifecycle. Responsible for administering Common Data Environments (CDEs), maintaining document control processes, ensuring compliance with project standards, and supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Common Data Environments (CDEs) across multiple live projects.
- Configure project workflows, user permissions, and security settings within document management systems.
- Carry out quality assurance checks on all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, document logs, and tracking systems.
- Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions, and project correspondence.
- Prepare and distribute document submission packages and project reports.
- Monitor document status, submission deadlines, and compliance with project requirements.
- Manage digital filing structures and ensure accurate version control.
- Upload and maintain Health & Safety documentation, including RAMS, inspections, non-conformance records, and associated registers.
- Support project teams with design documentation, handover information, and project close-out activities.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on document management systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive project information.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure efficient information flow.
- Document management systems - ViewPoint/4P Workflows.
