Export & Import Clerk

Due to ongoing expansion Laser Transport International, are recruiting for European Export & Import Clerks to join their team. The successful candidates will liaise with all departments, sub-contractors and customers in order to ensure smooth transition of data and information between them all.

Export
- Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining day to day contact with customers in order to determine their service requirements.
• Ensuring that the parameters set by customers and partners are met in the most effective and cost efficient manner.
• Liaising with Transport and partners to ensure that customer requirements are communicated and met, informing customers of any discrepancies in a proactive manner.
• Preparing and submitting customs documentation.
• Ensure that all administration (including pricing and costing) and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Ensure that all information is input on to the system accurately.
• To print all manifests and ensure that all paperwork is present and meets customer and partner requirements.
• To assist with trailer planning, communicating closely with colleagues and partners.
• Administrative tasks as required.
