New Health, part of Med Pal Ltd is a leading provider of weight management services, supporting patients on their journey to improved health and wellbeing. We work closely with GP practices and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated patient care.
The RoleWe are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Entry & GP Liaison Administrator to support our Weight Loss Clinic. This role combines accurate data management with communication and coordination between Med Pal, GP practices, and patients.
You will be responsible for processing patient information, managing GP data-sharing requests, maintaining healthcare records, and ensuring the timely exchange of information to support clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately enter and update patient information within clinical systems.
- Process and record clinical decision-making outcomes, referrals, and correspondence.
- Request, receive, and manage patient information shared by GP practices in line with data protection requirements.
- Review documentation for completeness and elevate any discrepancies.
- Support clinicians by ensuring relevant medical information is available for patient consultations.
- Track and monitor GP data-sharing requests to ensure timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records of information governance requirements where required.
- Liaise professionally with GP surgeries, NHS services, patients, and healthcare professionals.
- Produce reports and manage spreadsheets to support service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, confidentiality standards, and company policies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration or data entry experience.
- Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Is confident communicating with GP practices and healthcare professionals.
- Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and data security.
- Has strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Can prioritise workload effectively and work independently.
- Experience working within a healthcare, NHS, GP practice, or private medical environment is desirable.
- Data entry and record management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle sensitive medical information confidentially.
- Strong problem-solving and administrative skills.
