We’re hiring – Supplier Relationships Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Relationships Manager to join our dedicated team in our Warrington headquarters.

Employment type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid

Salary:
Dependent on experience

We have a variety of opportunities within the commercial fit-out sector, and projects are managed on a team basis; therefore, we are seeking a Supply Chain professional to interface with our supply chain to improve our end-to-end performance and delivery. Direct procurement experience is not essential but the successful candidate will have strong commercial skills, and an understanding of the fit-out industry would be advantageous.

The role is based in our Warrington office, although our projects are delivered nationally.

One of the key deliverables in this role is to manage the current supply chain, keeping it up to date, relevant and fit for purpose, expanding it where necessary to include new subcontractors and suppliers for specific projects or requirements.

In order to be well informed, you’ll need to build strong relationships with internal and external customers, including suppliers, sub-contractors, the QS & estimating teams and other major stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and manage a consistent supplier relationship management strategy
  • Ensuring strategic procurement around sustainability
  • Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
  • Strategically allocate suppliers and contractors to key projects.
  • Utilise and cultivate internal relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Review data and implement an improvement plan
  • Define and maintain supplier performance
  • Implement Key Performance Indicators
