Position Overview

Veolia is seeking a National Accounts Executive to manage and develop key customer relationships across the UK, while driving operational compliance, continuous improvement, and resource‑efficiency projects within the waste‑management sector. The role involves auditing processes, resolving operational issues, supporting customer reviews, and delivering performance improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Drive full compliance with agreed processes through coaching and audit programmes at all locations, including customer premises, outlets, supply‑chain and network sites, and subcontractors
  • Resolve operational issues from non‑compliance, coordinating corrective actions
  • Undertake additional waste, water or energy projects focused on resource efficiencies, alternative use, and waste reduction/reuse/recycling opportunities
  • Provide timely and detailed activity reports and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Manage annual Christmas service and other seasonal/peak trading schedules
  • Attend customer business reviews and support service reviews to maintain operational efficiency
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in process improvement or project management (lead or participant)
  • Willingness to be coached and supported to develop knowledge and abilities quickly (development role)
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous account or customer management experience in the waste industry
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Google Workspace
