Key Responsibilities:

As a Hire Desk Controller, you'll manage customer enquiries, bookings and equipment availability while coordinating deliveries and collections.

Handle hire enquiries and understand customer equipment requirements
Process bookings, quotations and hire documentation accurately
Check equipment availability and allocate plant
Coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers and depot teams
Keep customers updated throughout the hire process
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
Maintain accurate hire system records
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone with relevant industry experience who enjoys working with customers and thrives in a busy environment.

Experience in cranes, lifting, powered access or plant hire
Previous experience as a hire controller or similar
Strong communication and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and customer service
Confident working under pressure
Good IT skills and ability to use hire management systems
