Quantity Surveyor – Warrington – Up to £60,000 (DOE)

You will be joining a well‑established national Building and Civil Engineering contractor with strategically located regional offices across the UK. The Northern England Division, based at Walnut Tree Business Park in Lower Stretton, Warrington, is experiencing sustained growth through repeat client business and successful tenders in new sectors. You will become part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking Commercial team, contributing to the continued success and expansion of the division.
Responsibilities- Collate and agree client applications.
- Procure subcontract works packages, including preparing and issuing enquiry documents.
- Prepare and issue subcontract orders incorporating main contract terms where applicable.
- Certify subcontract applications and issue contractual notices in line with contract requirements.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities for tendering and variations.
- Advise site teams on contractual matters.
- Assist with preparation of delay notifications, ensuring correct contractual provisions are referenced.
- Prepare and negotiate variations with client teams.
- Collate and present monthly Commercial Reporting (CVR).
- Produce and update Cost versus Value Reports for self‑delivered works.
- Undertake site measurements where required.
- Experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level within a main contracting environment.
- A proven track record supporting or leading commercial project delivery.
- Experience in cost and value control management.
- Practical experience administering NEC forms of contract.
- The ability to work proactively and manage your own workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- A valid CSCS card.
- A full UK driving licence.

Salary for this Quantity Surveyor position is up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
This is a permanent position with an immediate start, based in the Warrington office five days per week or site‑based as required. No remote working is offered, ensuring you remain closely connected to your project teams and stakeholders.
