We’re working with a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into their London team.
They have a strong pipeline of work across concrete repairs, structural repair and civils, and this is a good opportunity to get involved in a range of technically interesting projects within a busy and growing commercial team.
What you’ll be doing:- Managing projects commercially from handover through to final account
- Carrying out valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Procuring and managing subcontractors and supplier relationships
- Supporting contract administration and commercial negotiations
- Working closely with site and operational teams to monitor progress and costs
- Identifying risks and commercial opportunities across projects
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering
- Ideally exposure to concrete repairs, structural repair or similar specialist works
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contracts
- Able to manage workloads across multiple projects
- Exposure to a variety of projects within a busy London team
