We are a market-leading commercial fenestration contractor, renowned for delivering innovative façade, window, curtain walling and glazing solutions across the UK. With a portfolio built around our own proprietary product range, we continue to set the benchmark for quality, performance and technical excellence throughout the industry.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Estimator to join our commercial team. This opportunity would suit someone with 1–2 years of estimating experience within construction, building envelope, façades, glazing, curtain walling, windows, or a related sector who is looking to develop their career within a highly successful and supportive environment.
The Role
Working alongside experienced estimating and commercial professionals, you will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tender submissions for commercial projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules.
* Undertaking quantity take-offs and material calculations.
* Liaising with suppliers and internal technical teams to obtain quotations and cost information.
* Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and commercial proposals.
* Identifying value engineering opportunities.
* Maintaining accurate records and estimating databases.
* Supporting handovers to the project delivery team following contract award.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
* 1–2 years' experience in an estimating role.
* Experience with in construction, façades, fenestration, glazing, building envelope or a related sector.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A proactive attitude and desire to learn and develop professionally.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
