Role location:
Warrington, United Kingdom. Role type:
Full-time, Permanent. Department: SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) for electrical engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Provide SHEQ support across electrical projects, installations, and site operations.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and SHEQ training to site teams.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Work with project managers and site teams to ensure safe systems of work are followed.
- Maintain accurate SHEQ records, reports, and documentation.
- Promote a positive safety culture across projects and the wider business.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or Engineering.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation within construction or electrical environments.
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation safety requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site teams, engineers, and management.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify and manage SHEQ risks on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on electrical infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
- Membership or working toward professional accreditation with IOSH or IIRSM.
- Experience supporting high-voltage or large electrical installation projects.
