Project Quantity Surveyor

📍 North West England
💰 £40,000 - £60,000 DOE + Benefits
🕒 Permanent | Immediate Start (Within 4 Weeks)

We are currently recruiting for two Project Quantity Surveyors to join a growing and well-established construction contractor delivering a range of projects across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious Quantity Surveyors looking to take ownership of projects while developing their careers within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing project costs from inception through to completion.

* Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.

* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.

* Cost reporting and forecasting.

* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.

* Reviewing contract documentation.

* Managing variations and change control.

* Supporting the project delivery teams to achieve commercial objectives.

* Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (essential).

* Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

* Experience working on industrial unit projects would be highly advantageous.

* Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

* Full UK driving licence preferred.
