We re looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Design team based in Speke.

Location: Speke, Liverpool - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting from £45,000 per annum

  • A chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or MCIOB)?
  • Experienced in the successful delivery of projects in the public and/or private sectors?
  • Confident delivering surveys, reports and technical advice?

  • Advise on compliance, HSE, planning and building regulations?

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you ll be working within the Design team, supporting them in delivering construction-focused, innovative and sustainable solutions. Your day to day will include:

  • Undertaking building surveys and producing professional reports on condition, defects, maintenance and improvement opportunities
  • Advising clients on building compliance, HSE, planning, Building Regulations and related matters
  • Designing, specifying and delivering maintenance, refurbishment, alteration and extension works
  • Administering contracts using JCT or NEC forms and managing projects through to successful completion
  • Building strong client relationships, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities
What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Building Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You hold chartered membership of RICS (Building Surveying pathway) or CIOB
  • You have a degree in Building Surveying or related field (or HNC/HND as a minimum)
  • You're experienced in successfully delivering projects in public and/or private sectors
  • You're confident in providing surveys, technical reports and professional advice to clients
  • You're passionate about working collaboratively within a trusted, delivery-focused organisation
