Working in partnership with many of the UK's leading house builders and developers, they specialise in residential developments, roads and sewers, foundations, drainage, highways, and associated civil engineering works.

Through continued investment in their people, technology, and plant fleet, the business has established itself as a trusted delivery partner, recognised for its commitment to quality, safety, and delivering projects on time and within budget. As a result of continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects from contract award through to final account Preparing and submitting applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts Procuring and managing subcontractors and suppliers Producing accurate cost forecasts, CVRs, and commercial reports Monitoring project costs and ensuring commercial targets are achieved Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance and profitability Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, site teams, and key stakeholders Supporting the Commercial Manager with strategic commercial decisions and reporting

The Ideal Candidate The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks or civil engineering sector Housing and residential groundworks experience is essential Previous experience working with residential developers or house builders Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills A proactive and commercially driven approach Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline would be advantageous What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of £45,000 - £75,000 Attractive benefits package Opportunity to join a leading North West groundworks and civil engineering contractor Long-term career progression within a growing and financially stable business Exposure to high-profile residential developments across the region Supportive and collaborative commercial team Opportunity to play a key role in the continued success of the business Apply:
