Health and Safety Officer

Location: Warrington (Hybrid - Office, Home & Site Based)

Salary: Circa £50,000 + 10% Car Allowance + 10% Bonus

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Health & Safety Officer to join a growing engineering and construction business delivering mechanical and electrical projects across the UK.

This role will support projects ranging from small-scale installations through to major schemes valued at over £20m. Significant UK travel is required, spending time on active project sites, supporting operational teams and ensuring high standards of Health & Safety compliance.

Reporting to the Contracts Director, with support from the Group Health & Safety Director, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive safety culture as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across UK project sites.
• Support Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams with practical Health & Safety advice.
• Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
