An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Estimator to join its Pre-Construction team based in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their estimating career within a business that delivers a diverse range of refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects valued between £50,000 and £10 million
.

Working alongside experienced Estimators, you'll gain exposure to the full tender process while receiving ongoing support and development.

• Assist with preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions.

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

• Measure quantities and prepare take-offs.

• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Assist in producing pricing schedules and tender documents.

• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required.

• Support the estimating team to meet tender deadlines.

• Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases.

• Previous estimating or construction experience.

• Experience working for a contractor is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good Microsoft Office skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Office-based role in West London
