- Supporting the implementation of the company's Health & Safety strategy across multiple construction projects
- Assisting with site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
- Monitoring compliance with current health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Supporting the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
- Assisting in the investigation of incidents and identifying preventative measures
- Working closely with site teams to promote a positive health & safety culture
- Helping deliver health & safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives
- Maintaining accurate health & safety records and compliance documentation
- Supporting pre-construction teams with planning and risk management activities
- Building strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Developing your knowledge of construction legislation, CDM Regulations, and industry best practice through ongoing mentoring and training
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
- A genuine passion for developing a career within construction health & safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A full UK Driving Licence or be working towards obtaining one
- NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to work towards it
- Previous placement, internship, or site experience within construction
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety legislation
- Competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £36,000
