We are currently recruiting suitably qualified, competent and experienced Skilled Shuttering Joiners & Steel Fixers to work across various sectors of Civil Engineering and in particular exciting opportunities in the Water Sector. With contract works throughout Lancashire & Cumbria this presents an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading multi discipline Civil Engineering and Building Contractors in our Northern England division.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To ensure all joinery / shuttering and steel fixing tasks are carried out and completed to the required specification, quality assurance, safety and environmental standards. To ensure that joinery/shuttering and steel fixing tasks are completed within the allocated timescales. Essential Skilled Shuttering Joiner and/or Steel Fixer Blue CSCS Card Twelve months experience within the construction industry. Competent in a wide range of formwork shuttering systems (Joiners) Able to read construction rebar drawings (Steel Fixers) Range of specific skills for the job, such as the use of manual and mechanical equipment, tools and machinery Safely use all power and hand tools saws, drills and other machinery Good communication skills.

Ability and willingness to work as part of a team. Highly motivated and able to use own initiative when required.

Desirable Experience in either Energy or Water Sectors Twenty-four months experience in a similar role. High level of technical competency partnered with an eagerness to add to knowledge and skills. Strong determination and a good work ethic. Commitment to continued professional learning and development.
