As a Graduate Construction (Site) Manager, you’ll gain hands‑on experience from day one, working alongside experienced site managers, project managers and delivery teams. You’ll support the planning, coordination and delivery of live construction projects, helping to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You’ll develop a strong understanding of how projects are delivered from start to finish, building your technical, organisational and leadership skills while contributing to important buildings and infrastructure that make a real difference to the communities they serve.

This is a site‑based role, with your initial project expected to be based in Warrington. As you develop, you’ll have opportunities to gain experience across a variety of projects, clients and locations within the wider North West Region, helping you build broad operational experience and a strong foundation for your career in construction management.

As a Graduate Construction Manager, you’ll rotate across key areas to develop your skills and gain the experience you need to progress towards professional accreditation.

No two days are the same and, with the support of experienced colleagues, you’ll:

• Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations, helping to keep works safe, efficient and on programme.
• Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Contribute to planning meetings, progress reviews and project updates.
• Monitor quality standards, health and safety compliance, and environmental performance.
• Help manage site logistics, temporary works and the sequencing of construction activities.
• Develop an understanding of commercial processes, including cost control and project reporting.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

This isn’t just about construction – it’s about leadership. You’ll be supported to develop the technical, practical and people skills to become a trusted construction professional. With mentoring, structured training and support towards CIOB accreditation, you’ll be on a clear pathway to becoming a Chartered Construction Manager.

We want to hear from people who are passionate about making a difference through construction and the built environment. You’ll bring:

• A degree (or expected in 2027) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline (2:2 or above).
• A full UK driving licence, or be working towards obtaining one by February 2027.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a practical and proactive approach.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
• A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm to learn and take on responsibility.
• A keen eye for detail, quality and safe working practices.
• Previous placement or site experience is desirable but not essential.
