This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key commercial activities, work alongside talented construction professionals and contribute to a diverse portfolio of building projects. If you're commercially astute, enjoy building strong relationships and are ready to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for managing the commercial performance of your projects, ensuring costs are controlled, risks are managed and opportunities are maximised throughout the project lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading the commercial management of projects, ensuring financial targets and contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, forecasts and regular financial reports.
  • Managing subcontract procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to protect and improve project margins.
  • Monitoring project costs and providing accurate financial forecasts and commercial updates to the wider team.
  • Managing contractual correspondence and ensuring compliance with relevant contract conditions.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry, with experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial procedures and cost management.
  • Experience managing subcontract packages, procurement, valuations and final accounts.
  • Excellent financial analysis, reporting and forecasting skills.
  • The ability to identify commercial risks and opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to support and develop colleagues.
