We're looking for an Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Architectural team based in Liverpool.

Liverpool

Hours:

37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary:  Starting form £40,000 per annum

Sector:  Architecture and Building Solutions

We're looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality design across a range of sectors.

This is a great opportunity to lead on projects, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in BIM-led delivery.

Are you…

A qualified Architectural Technologist (MCIAT/ACIAT) or equivalent (HNC/Degree)?

Experienced in delivering detailed design using REVIT and BIM?

Confident leading projects and supporting junior technicians?

Knowledgeable in UK building regulations and construction standards?

Experienced across sectors such as education, MOD/MOJ, or blue light?

Passionate about sustainable and low carbon design?

Do you…

Produce high-quality drawings and technical information using REVIT?

Coordinate and manage BIM information across projects?

Support planning applications and statutory approvals?

Undertake site visits and contract administration?

Contribute to design risk management and principal designer duties?

Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary design team?

Help support bids, sales activity, and project delivery across the region?

What will you be responsible for?

As an Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:

Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory requirements

Support and contribute to planning and statutory applications

Identify required site surveys, ensuring delivery and integration into designs

Produce high-quality technical drawings using CAD / REVIT

Lead on design coordination and development across projects

Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders for approvals

Contribute to design risk assessments and Principal Designer duties

Carry out site visits and contract administration

Support bids, tenders, and wider business development activity

Mentor and manage junior team members

Deliver projects across the North West and wider UK

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Architectural Technologist is great for you if you:

Are a qualified Architectural Technologist (MCIAT/ACIAT) or equivalent with strong experience

Are highly skilled in REVIT, BIM and technical design delivery

Are confident leading projects and supporting junior team members

Have experienced across sectors like education, MOD/MOJ or blue light (desirable)

Are up to date with UK regulations and modern construction practices

Able to deliver high-quality drawings and coordinated design information

Can manage BIM workflows and technical design coordination
