What Are We Looking For?
Our in-house design team is looking for an experienced Revit Technician to join our Asset Management business platform on a permanent basis. You’ll be working alongside a multi‑disciplinary team who can offer guidance and support, as you work on technically complex and challenging projects within the Water industry.
Some of Your Key Duties Include- Creating high quality, detail orientated discipline drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client and project requirements.
- Collate and interpret existing site information which could include 3D scans, utility information, client detail drawings and/or models.
- Working on multiple 3D models (Civil, MEP & Structural) to ensure seamless integration between disciplines.
- Maintain Revit families, templates, and projects standards in‑line with company workflows and client requirements.
- Work closely with our in‑house BIM team to ensure industry standard compliance, for example ISO 19650, are being maintained and achieved throughout a project life cycle.
- Participate in design coordination meetings.
- Coordinate and collaborate models and drawings with the project team and client through our CDE;
Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Prior experience of working in a similar position with a proven knowledge of effective Revit and BIM workflows is essential.
- Qualified to HNC, HND, Degree level in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
- 3D modelling skills with experience of translating proposed designs into accurate BIM Models.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and proven implementation.
- Keen focus on quality whilst also able to work at pace within a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools would be advantageous.
- Prior experience of working within the water sector would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- UK Driving Licence.
