Teaching Assistant

We are excited to be recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our Year 4 team in a welcoming and supportive Warrington primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference in children's education.

About the Role:

As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across all subjects

Provide 1:1 and small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant for children who require additional support

Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation

Encourage independence, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning

Contribute as a valued Teaching Assistant to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate :

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and reliable Teaching Assistant who can:

Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

Demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in the classroom

Use initiative to support the class teacher and take on Teaching Assistant responsibilities confidently

Understand safeguarding and put pupil wellbeing first

Hold a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
