Cover People are seeking a passionate, nurturing and confident teacher to take on a full-time long-term role in a Year 4 class starting in January and continuing until the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities

Teach a Year 4 class full-time, delivering high-quality and engaging lessons
Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Support the school’s vision, values and high expectations
Use nurturing, trauma-informed and SEND-aware approaches to meet pupil needs
Build positive, respectful relationships with pupils, staff and families
Contribute to year-group planning within a supportive three-form entry structure

Essential Criteria

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs strongly encouraged to apply
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 4
Confident behaviour management rooted in fairness and consistency
Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
A commitment to inclusive, child-centred and responsive practice
