Connex Education is proud to be supporting a wonderful Primary school in Warrington as they seek a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January, this role is working within a mixed Y1/2 class offering general support to the class teacher.

This is a part‑time role, Monday and Tuesdays 8.30‑3.30pm , You will be assiting the class teacher and working closley with the KS1 team, throughtout the day you will take small groups of pupils to assist with reading, English and Maths.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing support to the class teacher
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the KS1 Team to ensure pupils thrive
• Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment
• Assisting with routines, smooth transitions, and personalised support plans

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working within a KS1 or classroom setting
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Strong communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
