We are supporting a
We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant, to work in one of ourSEND schools in Warrington. You will play a key role in supporting students with a range of needs, helping to ensure they access the curriculum and thrive in school life.
Whether you're experienced in education or looking to take your first steps into a school-based role, we offer a welcoming environment where you can grow, learn and make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students at all academic levels- both in class and in small group or 1:1 settings.
* Assist teaching staff in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Encourage student independence, confidence, and engagement.
* Monitor and record student progress under the guidance of teaching staff and SENCo.
* Support the implementation of EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies.
* Promote positive behavior and contribute to a safe, respectful school culture.
About You
* A genuine passion for working with young people.
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to individual needs.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in a similar role or with young people is desirable, but not essential.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – essential.
* Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g. safeguarding, first aid, SEND).
