Position: Dance Drama Music and Art role
Teacher for the following subjects Dance Drama Art and Music for KS3
Full-time, long-term until 22nd July 2026

- Performing Arts Teacher to join an amazing school to cover KS3 only. You may be stronger on some areas and weaker in others or the above subjects, but we want to hear from you now.

The department is both innovative and supportive with a history of amaing examination results at focused on inspiring children to reflect, learn and achieve.

Responsibilities:

* Planning, delivering and marking lessons.

* Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally

* Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback

* Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.

* Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department

* Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.

* Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate

* Possess an excellent subject knowledge

* Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum

* Maintain exceptional classroom practice

* Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues

* Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
