Academics are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our warm and welcoming primary school in the Warrington area to work in Year 2 (Key Stage
1).

The successful candidate will take full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class, working closely with pupils in an engaging and supportive learning environment. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, supporting pupils as they consolidate core skills in reading, writing and maths, and preparing them for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2.

We are seeking someone who:

• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
  Understands the importance of supporting pupils in preparation for end-of-Key-Stage-1 expectations
  Can effectively support pupils of varying abilities within the classroom
  Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently with pupils, staff and families
  Has strong behaviour management skills and a patient, nurturing approach
  Is able to follow and promote school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection
  Can plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote pupil progress and enjoyment of learning
  Is committed to making a positive difference to young children at a key stage in their development
