Academics are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our warm and welcoming primary school in the Warrington area to work in Year 2 (Key Stage
1).

The successful candidate will take full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class, working closely with pupils in an engaging and supportive learning environment. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, supporting pupils as they consolidate core skills in reading, writing and maths, and preparing them for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2.

We are seeking someone who:

Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

* Understands the importance of supporting pupils in preparation for end-of-Key-Stage-1 expectations

* Can effectively support pupils of varying abilities within the classroom

* Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently with pupils, staff and families

* Has strong behaviour management skills and a patient, nurturing approach

* Is able to follow and promote school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection

* Can plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote pupil progress and enjoyment of learning

* Is committed to making a positive difference to young children at a key stage in their development
