A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Warrington is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure every child feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Work with small groups to reinforce learning in English and Maths
• Provide targeted intervention support where required
• Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values
• Support pupils with additional needs, adapting approaches where necessary

• Experience working within a primary school setting
• An enhanced Child DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
• A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
• Confidence supporting children across different year groups
• A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
