We are looking for a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with additional behavioural needs. You will build positive relationships, encourage engagement in education and support the school’s goal of helping students improve confidence, emotional regulation and learning engagement.
ResponsibilitiesSupport students both in and out of the classroom, help manage behaviour, provide emotional support, and create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- Previous experience in a school or alternative provision setting
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help with onboarding
